Pressure Reducing Valve Rebates

Funds are currently available. Rebates received after Monday, Sept. 20, 2021 will not be processed until Oct. 1, 2021 at the start of the new fiscal year.

Pressure reducing valves save water by lowering your home’s water pressure. If you install one, you may qualify for a rebate!

How do I apply?

  1. Review the rebate application for program guidelines.
  2. Call 214.509.4556 to see if water pressure in your area is over 80psi according to Allen’s water pressure map. Only homes in these areas will qualify for this rebate.
  3. Hire a licensed plumber who is registered in the City of Allen to perform your installation. Save an itemized invoice!
  4. Complete the Residential Pressure Reducing Valve Application as soon as possible. Your rebate won’t be processed until all paperwork is received.

How much can I save?

If your rebate application is approved, the City of Allen will rebate 50% of the purchase and installation cost (up to $125) of a qualifying pressure reducing valve. The cost may include hardware and installation costs incurred by a licensed plumber.
